I'm sorry I couldn't make it, but as it turned out, I nearly fell asleep at dinner so it would have been a horrible idea for me to try. (plus, I guess we know who has been jinxing people now ;) )
Hey Pen--
I know that you had health issues, and Em explained them a little more in detail to me last night, so I'm definitely glad you didn't come, because on a dark, rainy night, I would've been more worried about your safety driving than me passing! So I'm glad you didn't try. But you must have still sent out some good karma! I won't be in this Saturday, but I can try to be there for the early classes (black belt classes) the following Saturday, since I won't have classes due to Halloween next week.
COngratulations on your promotion! Can't wait to hear the details.
